Work Experience

We are currently planning our work experience options for young people aged 15-17 in 2022. If you are interested in office or project based work experience send your CV to us. Our contact details are HERE.

Our office based work experience includes placements within marketing, finance, admin and HR. Our project based work experience depends on the events we have running at the time and include project management and event management. We also have work experience placements in hospitality roles at the Wardrobe.

If you are interested in work experience at Futuresound:

Send us a CV by email. This doesn’t have to be more than one side of A4.

Include some information in your email about what kind of placement you are looking for (ie in the office, in the Wardrobe or on a project or event).

Things we expect from our work placement applicants:

  1. We expect you to be punctual and to show up.
  2. We expect you to have zero knowledge about our industry at this stage, so don’t be afraid to ask
  3. We expect you to have a good attitude at all times – polite, positive and personable.

Things you can expect from us:

  1. Your work placement will be planned and agreed beforehand so you know exactly what you will be doing, where you will be and what hours you are expected to work.
  2. On each day you will have one person as your main point of contact for any questions or support.
  3. We will give you a range of things to do on your placement.
  4. We will debrief with you after the work placement so we can understand what did and didn’t work, and you can clarify what you have learnt, and what your next steps may be.
